The Only Internet Radio Station That Plays Predominantly British Barbershop Music.

The Jazz Firm (LABBS 2003 Quartet Champions) and are Uli Grigoleit (Tenor), Sally McLean (Lead), Alison Jones (Baritone) and Jenny Share (Bass).

The Jazz Firm was formed in November 1999. After a brief spell being known as The Mellowtones, the name of the quartet was quickly changed to something that better reflected the style of singing which the quartet enjoy most.

The quartet is based in Leeds, England, with all four members also singing (and Sally directing) with the nine-times champion Barbershop chorus, The White Rosettes.

The Jazz Firm love singing jazz standards and more contemporary material as well as traditional Barbershop Harmony. All their work is a cappella, although within this boundary the quartet has a wide and varied repertoire which is guaranteed to delight audiences nationwide.

In October 2001 The Jazz Firm were proud to be awarded silver medals in their first ever competition at the LABBS National Quartet Championships held in Bournemouth.

The quartet changed its line up in April 2002 and competed for the first time ever in Holland in the European Convention in March 2003 where they were pleased to be placed fourth in the European competition. Following an incredible experience at the Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers Convention held in Harrogate during early November 2003, the Jazz Firm were thrilled to be crowned the new British Quartet Champions. The quartet won the much coveted Gold Medals and the trophies for winning all of the categories in which they were judged.
